Marijo St-Laurent moved in 2005, leaving her Canadian roots behind to become a permanent snowbird. From English as a Second Language Teacher to massage therapist, with cruise ship lead counselor to explore the world in between, she has now worked her way up to Management at our Halifax Injury Physicians location. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children, mostly outdoors. She loves nature and any excuse to be outside is good enough for her. She can spend hours recharging while exploring various trails all over the sunshine state or playing on the beach, making sand castles with her little ones, swimming or paddle boarding. You may also be surprised to find her with boxing gloves on taking it out on heavy bags, focus mitts, or doing partner drills with her trainer. She dreams of retiring in the islands, massaging people on the beach and fishing for her dinner.
I have enjoyed ten years in Sales and Marketing, including being fortunate eough to have opened used car lot in 2010 where I was albe to nurture my love of German cars. After dissolving my partnership at that lot in 2015, I found an adventure selling fleet vehicles, which gave me the oppotunity to drive and deliver vehicles of all shapes and sizes, which was a blast! I am most excited about my role at Halifax Injury Physicians because it allows me to serve my community, a natural passion of mine. When I am not working I am enthusiastic about cooking for my family and friends, kayaking our local waterways, going to the beach, and altruistic work in our amazing Recovery Community. My favorite quote: "The meeting of two personalitie is like the contact of two chcmical substances: if there is a reaction, both are transformed."-Carl Jung
