Dr. Travis Utter attended Florida State University and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2003, where he studied Communications and Science. A true passion for helping and healing others, Dr. Utter attended Palmer College of Chiropractic. Since graduating in 2011 he has primarily focused on Whiplash related injuries. Dr. Utter is certified in Whiplash & Brain Injury Traumatology, emphasizing the biomechanics of injury mechanisms, occupant kinematics, automobile crash reconstruction methods, our most current knowledge of imaging techniques, and the comprehensive case management of whiplash and related disorders. He currently holds licenses in Florida and Kentucky.
Originally from Nyack, New York, Dr. Brian Graduated from Nyack High School in 2006 and went on to get his BS in Biology from SUNY Cortland, where he was a National Champion Lacrosse player. In 2013, He moved to Florida to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic and never looked back! After graduating in 2017, we were thrilled to welcome him to the Halifax Injury Physicians’ family. He and his fiancée enjoy spending time in the Florida sun and at all of the Amusement Parks.
Dr. Erika Equizi is a Florida native. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Equizi is currently certified in the Webster technique for pregnant women and is obtaining her certification for prenatal and pediatric chiropractic through ICPA. She loves spending her free time at the beach with her boyfriend and two sons.
Marijo St-Laurent moved in 2005, leaving her Canadian roots behind to become a permanent snowbird. From English as a Second Language Teacher to massage therapist, with cruise ship lead counselor to explore the world in between, she has now worked her way up to Management at our Halifax Injury Physicians location. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children, mostly outdoors. She loves nature and any excuse to be outside is good enough for her. She can spend hours recharging while exploring various trails all over the sunshine state or playing on the beach, making sand castles with her little ones, swimming or paddle boarding. You may also be surprised to find her with boxing gloves on taking it out on heavy bags, focus mitts, or doing partner drills with her trainer. She dreams of retiring in the islands, massaging people on the beach and fishing for her dinner.
Denise Wilson is a Certified Paralegal with almost 20 years of insurance and auto no-fault experience. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii but has lived all over as the daughter of a naval veteran. She attended Eastern Michigan University. She is passionate about making sure people understand their rights and benefits in order to ensure they have every resource they deserve. Denise is the mother of two rambunctious teenage boys and a very spoiled Shih Tzu. When not working, she is spending time with family, reading, writing, and traveling.
Christine is originally from Massachusetts and is a graduate of Northeastern Institute of Whole Health. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist in both Florida and New Hampshire, a Licensed Cosmetologist and is certified as a Personal Trainer in Rehabilitative Therapy. Christine joined our team in 2016. She has two daughters, two grandsons and is a competitive pool player!
Aivia is originally from Florida and is a graduate of the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, FL. She believes the healing power of touch can save lives. Her favorite hobbies are spending time with her daughter and trying new foods. She is also certified in assisted stretching.
I am a native Floridian and graduate of International Academy in Daytona Beach. My great passion is to bring intuitive touch to effectively unwind the unique tensions in your body and help restore you anew! Spending time with my dog Chichi on the beach is my favorite thing to do.
Steve has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007 and a NATA certified Athletic Trainer since 1985. He is a Neurokinetic Therapist as well as a Myoskeletal Alignment Practitioner. Steve also practices Cranial Release Therapy, Primal Reflex Technique, Structural Release Therapy and Total Motion Release. Originally from New York, Steve came to join our team from the world of Professional baseball; having been with the Chicago Cubs from 1986-2013 and the Detroit Tigers from 2014-2017.
Amanda was born in Baltimore, Maryland where she worked for the state of Maryland motor vehicle division. During her experience at the motor vehicle division Amanda served as a customer service agent specializing in CDL drivers. Amanda later started working in the legal field as a assistant to the defense attorney department in Maryland. In 2017 she moved to Florida and joined the Halifax Injury location in Daytona Beach. We are happy to have Amanda as she will provide the best customer service to all our current, past and future patients.
I have lived in Florida since 1974 and had a career in the legal field most of my life. I am excited to join the Halifax Injury Physicians team as a receptionist and learn a new field. I have visited 7 different countries and look forward to traveling to others. I enjoy racing, motorcycles and the beach.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Sabrina moved to Spring Valley, NY with her family at the age of 10. She later relocated to Alpharetta, GA, where she lived for 15 years, found her love for electronics and decided to study computers. She received an A+ certification in 2009, and worked in Technical Support for Version Wireless. In 2016, she relocated to Palm Coast, FL and decided to study Medical Billing and Coding. After attending Florida Technical College and receiving her Diploma, Sabrina joined our Halifax Injury Physicians team in July, 2017 after completing her externship with us. She is currently continuing her studies in Health Information Technology with a minor in Computer Technology.
A dynamic and integral part of the Halifax family, Ron is originally from Los Angeles. He is an incessant entrepreneur, successfully building businesses across a myriad of industries, ranging from restaurants in California, to coal in Kentucky, to automobiles in Florida. Ron is married to the best friend he’s ever had and is the father of four and grandfather of seven.
