Dr. Jay Laurienzo, D.C. is a Brandon chriopractor for Preferred Injury Physicians. Dr. Laurienzo is well versed in treating patients injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident, slip and fall or workers comp through a multidisciplinary approach accessing all realms of healthcare throughout treatment. Through the utilization of diagnostic imaging such as x rays, CT and MRI, Dr. Laurienzo aims to fix the cause of the problem rather than mask the symptoms. His network of other providers includes pain management, neurosurgeons, neurologist, orthopedic spinal and extremity specialists. He was born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science at Flagler College and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While attending at Flagler College, Dr. Laurienzo was extensively involved in his studies while concurrently excelling as a student-athlete on the baseball field. He is currently certified to provided Manipulation Under Anesthesia to patients in need of a less invasive alternative to drastic procedures. Dr. Laurienzo strives to ensure his patients with meticulous care tailored to their particular needs by treating the musculoskeletal system through the restoration of bio-mechanical function. Permitting his patients to live the full, functional and healthy life that they are accustomed to with little to no health complications is at the core of Dr. Laurienzo's concerns when consulting with patients and treating his patients. Rory Newbrough graduated from Cortiva School of Massage Therapy-Chicago in the Fall of 2014. After graduation, Rory began his career in manual clinical therapy at Olympia Chiropractic in Chicago where he worked for three years dealing with athletic, car accident, and workman’s comp injuries before moving with his wife to Florida. While working with Preferred Injury Physicians, Rory will be helping patients through their exercises and working through their manual therapy. While not at work, Rory is also a Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys helping people reach their max potential.
